It seems college work, a couple of blackouts and just plain old lack of motivation (and inspiration) have conspired against me, as I’ve neglected this place for more than a week. This upcoming week is a two-day one, meaning I’ll only have classes on Tuesday and Wednesday. Should be good for writing a bit. While that happens, here’s a view of city, as it was during last Monday’s blackout:
Apologies for any stitching errors you may find. Did my best to crop them out. Anyway, enjoy your workweek (badum tish). Bye.
P. S.: This post marks the anniversary of my move to WordPress.com. Just noticed that. Yay, I guess.

well I was all ready to come here and note how depressing this post was, until you threw in that it’s your BlogiWordPressary. You should do a proper BlogiWordPressary post :)
So, Ew, you’ve been spewing your
gutsfeelings online since 2006 glad you moved to wordpress though or I wouldn’t know of you and thus I couldn’t make fun of you :P btw, you don’t refer to yourself as “lazy bastard” anymore, have you lost your sparkle?! has wordpress tamed you in some way?! Let me know so I can contact WP support.Congrats on a great blog!
Oh, no. No -versary post from me :P
I should do something about the lack of lazybastardness. Now that you’ve noted it, I’m really worried.
And, please, no WP support. They’ll stage an intervention with the whole “Hi, please have a seat” and “We’re here because we care” stuff, and that might just push me over the blog-edge!
Posting new images and writing new stuff in blogs can be a mental anquish… I am trying to be creative with posting and working with graveyard shifts…
This is another excellent pano work from you.
Hope that you find inspiration later in the week :)
Thank you. The original pano was wider, but I had to remove part of the right side because the images didn’t fit 100%.
I’m shock to see a short post from you. Hope you are fine :)
Happy Blogiversary… Why don’t you write up a blogiversary post (like sensico said)..
I love WordPress too but I have very little options to make my move :D
I’ll only make one when I hit a significant number of years, like 10 or something!
@Omar
Congrats! on the blog move anniversary. I really liked the panorama you posted. Don’t worry about the lack of motivation/inspiration it’s making the rounds and like the flu it will be gone in no time. ;)
Thanks. I hope you’re right about both things. That “new” flu strain has been doing things here.
Omar, welcome to the club :)
Sometimes life make this irritating habbit of getting us away from the ‘online world’ since the ‘offline one’ requires some attention in order not to starve :P Anyway my blog has complained a lot lately from me :)
There’s a club?! Ahem …
I’m still trying to figure out the best way to catch up with stuff from the last few weeks that I have yet to write about.
GORGEOUS panorama, excellent stitching & such vibrant colours
Thank you! I wanted to make a panorama from the other side of the roof, but there’s some construction work going on (as always) and it’s just not as colorful. And this one has the sea!
